HumanCode Studios and NRCCUA launch phase 1 of a completely redesigned NRCCUA.org.

The National Research Center for College University Admissions primary focus:

• To assist colleges and universities in identifying potential students who can benefit from higher education.
• To provide a communications link between professional admissions personnel, other educational and career service providers, and high school staff members responsible for student information and guidance.
• To provide information services to students and their families that will enable them to make better educational, occupational and financial aid decisions.

• To cooperate with, and assist other information dissemination agencies, organizations, associations, and other educators, who support the total concept of our mission and purpose.

Artist.com Home Page Concept

Designed and developed to create a global database of artists showcasing their work and services. Largely designed to be visually driven with “lots more to look at” and less to have to read. Home page consisted of artist sponsored artwork and featured bodies of work that continually were refreshed on return visits.

OpenLaszlo - Monster.com Home Pages for Seekers + Employers

Combining a decade of “Home Page” usability and focus-group results on what Monster’s users would like most from the Monster.com home page, we created a contained experience using OpenLaszlo and Adobe Flash that provided instant user-experience gratification (no re-directs) of user controls. For Job Seekers, the functions such as job search, member login, job search results, collapsible advertising and broadcast video are all functional from within the same working view.

For Monster’s Employer home page an identical design and development approach was taken with the addition of expandable advertising “modules” to accommodate alternative revenue streams such as “featured employers” and “special offers”.

In terms of global site consistency, both versions followed the same control/feature/function layout. – i.e., searching for jobs exhibited the same user behavior as searching for resumes. Unifying user control behaviors such as this, regardless of their source (seeker or employer) created a consistent, integrated user experience for either side of the business.
